Digital Technology Office - Room 208

The digital technology office manages the Digital Labs throughout the School of Art. The Digital Labes contains Magintosh®-based facilities for undergraduate and graduate students from all areas of study. For more information click here.

Photography Lab

The photography lab contains darkrooms. The darkrooms are open to any undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled in the Photography Department program of study. The photography lab also loans cameras out for intro classes. For more information click here.

Ralph Mayer Learning Center

The Ralph Mayer Learning Center is dedicated to Ralph Mayer, an author of many books about art. The center supports research and writing on the use of materials, and it is for studying the artists' techniques in the field of drawing and painting. For more information click here.

This building offers full wood and metal shops. These shops are open to graduate and undergraduate students currently enrolled in a sculpture course, after taking the appropriate training for thw wood and/or metal shop. For more information click here.

"The Yale center for British Art is a public art museum and research institute that houses the largest collection of British art oustide the United Kingdom. It was presented to the university by Paul Mellon (Yale College, Class of 1929), the collection reflects the development of British art and culture from the Elizabethan period onward. The Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library is the rare book library and literary archive of the Yale University Libraries.
